Getting Timely Advice
DIAP Advice Workers constantly advice service users to deal with problems promptly. Whether you
need an adaptation at home, or help in the home, or have been refused a benefit or service, your best course of action is to get help promptly.
Have you been refused a Social Security benefit or wish to appeal against an unfair decision?
It is obviously very upsetting and distressing to lose a benefit or service that you may been receiving for a long time, or to have a benefit
or service reduced. If this has happened to you then please contact a good advice service like DIAP as soon as possible.
This is especially important when you have recently been refused benefits such as Employment & Support Allowance (ESA) or Disability Living Allowance (DLA).

Do you want to become a DIAP Volunteer Advice Worker?
Most of the volunteers who work at DIAP as Volunteer Advice Workers started out as service users. So if you have some time to spare and want to do some interesting and challenging work, then please contact DIAP for further information.
